Young Carers
At Ashton Park, we are committed to supporting our young carers. A Young Carer is a person under 18 who provides or intends to provide care for another person. They often take on practical and/or emotional caring responsibilities normally expected of an adult. If you think that applies to you there is help and support available in school
Please email youngcarers@ashtonpark.net or speak to Ms.Sharma, Mr Mantegna or your tutor

Mental Health
At Ashton Park School we have a dedicated pastoral team who provide support for our students. We offer a range of pastoral interventions in school to support the Wellbeing and Resilience of our young people as well as other opportunities, through our curriculum, to discuss Mental Health and Wellbeing. We are lucky to have our own School Nurse and strong links with external support agencies in Bristol such as Brook, Off The Record and Creative Youth Network.
All Ashton Park students belong to their own pastoral family in school comprised of their tutor and tutor group, who they see everyday, and a dedicated House Team whose role is not only to coordinate activities but also to support the tutor team and the welfare of all students in their House.
Our pastoral and safeguarding team can offer support and signposting to parents and carers who have concerns around issues such as alcohol/drug use, behaviour, friendships and self-esteem to name a few.
If you have concerns about your child's experience of school please contact their tutor and/or Head of House in the first instance.
